Costas

Galicia has more than 1,200 kilometers of coastline. In it, rugged cliffs alternate with paradisiac beaches and hidden bays. It is famous for its evocative beauty uncommon in the Iberian Peninsula.
In it we find a wide variety of ecosystems that harbour some of the most interesting bird communities. Both its coastal wetlands and the estuaries welcome large numbers of wintering and birds in migration. In the cliffs and more rugged areas breed interesting seabirds.
During the migratory periods, especially the postnuptial one, the great passage of marine birds in front of the capes stands out. The most outstanding, without a doubt, is the Cabo de Estaca de Bares, the northernmost point of the Peninsula and which is the best observation point for migratory seabirds in Europe.
